About me

DSC03736_edited.jpg

Pursuing a degree in Studio Art at Florida State University was a natural choice for me. I've always loved painting and creating, and studying visual art in an academic setting gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into both its history and creative processes. Alongside my passion for art, I felt a strong calling early on to help others through occupational therapy—an interest sparked by watching my grandfather's experience in a skilled nursing facility. His therapy sessions not only improved his physical health, but also lifted his spirits, and that stuck with me.

That calling led me to the beautiful city of Charleston, where I earned my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. From my first visit, I was inspired by the beauty and spirit of the Lowcountry.

As an occupational therapist, I value patience, empathy, and attention to detail—qualities that naturally carry over into my work as an artist. Through my art, I strive to uplift and encourage others, capturing the charm of Charleston and beyond in a way that reflects both care and creativity.
